Winstrol is one of the most popular and well-known anabolic steroids on earth.  It was developed in the late 1950’s and comes in both oral and injectable forms.  There is no difference in strengths of oral and injectable winstrol; the only difference is in how quickly it is absorbed by the body.  The oral half life is 9 hours, whereas, the injectable form carries a half-life of 24 hours.    The oral form has become the more popular choice, as the injectable form is a water-based suspension that is known to cause painful injections.  Both forms have yet to lose FDA approval due to the numerous therapeutic treatment plans it can be used in.
Stanozolol is a dihydrotestosterone (DHT) derived anabolic androgenic steroid, carrying an added methyl group in order to protect hormone after administration. This structural change takes place at the 17th carbon position officially classifying Stanozolol as a C17-alpha alkylated (C17-aa) anabolic steroid.  Winstrol is considered to have a more powerful anabolic to androgenic effect compared to testosterone, with a rating of 320/30.
Unlike many anabolic steroids, Winstrol is mainly used to improve physique, athletic performance and strength, rather than for bulking.  It is a fairly mild anabolic steroid that can be safely used by both men and women.  Equally important, it has proven highly effective for numerous performance enhancement endeavours. It is a highly effective cutting anabolic steroid capable of quick results to create a hard look within days, making it a long-standing favourite among competitive bodybuilders and physique-based athletes.  Although it carries potential negative effects on the liver, cholesterol, and joints, winstrol is often the first choice for first-time steroid users due to its rapid results.  It is a favourite among women in low doses as it causes moderate but not huge muscle gains, so it’s perfect for toning without bulking.

What is the recommended dosage?
The recommended dose of winstrol depends on each individuals experience level and goals.  Because of liver toxicity issues, it is recommended that higher doses be used in the injectable form.  A typical winstrol cycle runs for 6-8 weeks.  For both male and female users, it is recommended not to exceed a cycle of 8 weeks due to liver toxicity and its effect on cholesterol.
For most male athletes, doses normally fall in the 25-75mg/day range.  For more extreme bodybuilding athletes, it is not uncommon to see doses of 100mg/day, but users should be aware of the potential harmful side effects associated with higher doses.
For female athletes, a suitable dose lies in the 5-15mg/day range.  Women can gain dramatic results from low doses, so it is suggested to start with 5mg/day and work up if you are not achieving the results you would like.  Most women can tolerate up to 10mg/day without harmful side effects.

What does Winstrol stack well with?
Winstrol is a very versatile compound and has the unique ability to be stacked with a wide variety of anabolic steroids. It can be added to almost any cutting stack, and occasionally used in bulking cycles but this is much less common.  For males, it is not recommended to use a winstrol only cycle due to the potential negative effects on joints and testosterone suppression.  In order to counter these negative effects, it is recommended that at least a testosterone variety be supplemented to the cycle.  It is also often used alongside Trenbolone, Equipoise, and Masteron in male cycles.
Women tend to be able to handle a winstrol-only cycle much more easily than men due the the lower recommended dose.  Many women also choose to stack it alongside Anavar for more dramatic results.
